Grimbos Building Surveyors were proud sponsers of the annual HeartKids Gala event held on Friday 20th June 2014, which was held to raise much needed funds to provide support to families & children with heart disease and to assist with further research into childhood heart disease which effects one if every six children born.
Held at the beautiful RACV Club, guests were treated to a delicious three course meal, live & silent auctions, entertainment and speeches by HeartKid Teens; Daniel Sibberas and Sally Webster which left us in awe of their strength and courage. We were delighted with the controversial Sam Kekovich as MC, who had us in fits of laughter as he took on true Sam style and urged guests to dig deep for the children.
On the night Grimbos Building Surveyors were honoured to receive a Corporate Membership in recognition of their outstanding contribution to HeartKids. This award was received alongside Bardot Junior, Canny and Biggin & Scott.
John Grimbos, the founding director of Grimbos Building Surveyors, has a personal connection with HeartKids following the passing of his daughter Portia Grimbos at 40 days old from a congenital heart defect, therefore the award received was most welcomed and truly appreciated.
