Super Boss Day is a new initiative where bosses dress as a super hero for a day to raise funds for children with heart disease and their families After the loss of John’s daughter, Portia, from a number of heart abnormalities in 2010, John and his family became passionate about supporting HeartKids. In addition to Portia, John’s niece and 4th daughter, Paris, were also born with a heart condition. Childhood heart disease has affected John’s family in a profound way, hence his dedication to the charity. HeartKids is a non-profit charity providing much needed support to families of children with heart disease and research into childhood heart disease. Without the continual support and money raised, HeartKids could not continue providing this much needed support. So on Thursday 19 February, John will come to work dressed up as a super hero to recognise all those children who are super heros in dealing with their daily battle of heart disease.
