Who is Zoran Mitrevski?

Known as Zok or Zoki, he is famous for providing the team with project statistics, memorizing project job numbers and making the best short black coffee.

Since the age of 10, Zoki wanted to become a pilot. This dream was founded after he visited the cockpit of a plane he was boarding with his family to Europe. Thereafter Zoki become absorbed in learning about airplanes, and can now rattle off the ins and outs of a Boeing 747 and his favorite airplane; Airbus A380. There is only one thing holding Zoki back from fulfilling his dream, and that is being a nervous flyer…..and maybe the fact that he has no idea how to fly a plane.

As a mad passionate Collingwood supporter (don’t hold it against him), Zoran invited Nathan Buckley to make a guest appearance at his 13th birthday. To much disappointment, Nathan Buckley couldn’t attend due to “other commitments”….perhaps Zoki should try again on his 50th birthday.

As a teenager, Zoki found himself in the music industry, becoming a well-known DJ in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. Having DJ’d at numerous underage events and festivals around Melbourne he found himself on the way to making it to the top (in the world of DJs). Unfortunately, DJ life was not conducive to a long life career, and soon became a distant memory. Zoran does still like to put his DJ skills to practice on a Friday in the office with glow sticks in hand.

Fast forward to the ripe old age of 19 and Zoki wanted to return to studies and complete a Project Management degree. Fortunately he met John Grimbos who sold him the world of Building Surveying and subsequently became an Inspections Coordinator at Davis Langdon within John’s Building Surveying team.

Zoran has now successfully completed a Diploma of Building Surveying and has proven his capability, understanding and motivation, by recently becoming a Senior Building Code Consultant at Grimbos Building Surveyors.
