Many clients are unsure as to when a building permit may be required. Common items relating to retail premises which would require a building permit are:
> When a change of use occurs
> When Essential Safety measures are altered
> Structural Building Works occur
> Installation of partition walls (even when non-structural)
> Demolition works, including non-structural
If ever in doubt, call us to confirm. It’s always better to be sure.
