Buildings over 25 metres are considered high rise buildings in accordance with the BCA and are the most onerous in respect to compliance.
As a general rule, buildings of this height trigger the following as mandatory under the BCA:
> Sprinklers
> Stair pressurisation
> Minimum of 2 egress stairs
> Fire control centres
> Emergency lifts to service in emergency mode
