Selecting a compliant aluminum cladding can be somewhat difficult to decipher with many non-compliant materials on the market.

Fairview (www.fv.com.au) have produced a guide to assist in selecting the correct ‘deemed to satisfy’ aluminum cladding, with an easy to understand definition to determine if the cladding is deemed to be an ‘attachment’ or ‘part of the wall’.

Whilst this guide is based on comprehensive product testing and expert advice, it is general in nature and should only be used as a guide. It should not be used to determine project specific compliance with the BCA.

Always consult your Building Surveyor for further confirmation of compliance requirements.

Fire test reports, CodeMark certificates and detailed fire engineering reports are available on request from Fairview | ph 1800 007 175
